We also raise llamas. We use our llamas for guard animals. We run them with our goats and our sheep. They bond at a very young age with the goats and sheep. At weaning age we will put them in a pasture with “their” group of goats. Many of our llamas know the minute we add a new goat to their group. The llama immediately goes to the new goat and checks it over.
